A passionate storyteller and advocate for equity, Sophie is the founder and teacher of WE2: Write, Educate, Empower, a multi-faceted journalism program aimed at exposing, educating, and empowering young journalists to use their voices. WE2 curriculum focuses on the brainstorming process, types of journalism and expression, and the peer editing processes for news and creative articles resulting in the independent online publication that you have now visited. Sophie is extremely grateful for the enthusiastic support of Mr. Russell Triolo, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Union County, NJ for WE2, and the amazing assistance of Ms. Kabriya Oates the Union County Director of Programs to bring WE2 to the terrific young adults of Boys and Girls Club of Union County.
